A wildcat port workers' strike affected port activities in the French oil hub of Fos on Thursday.
Work resumed at the Fos and Lavera public terminals at 2 p.m. local time on Thursday with port workers calling off a strike that had started at 6 a.m.
A local bunker supplier told Bunkerworld that bunker deliveries were held up on Thursday due to the strike preventing access to the oil terminal.
Supply operations were back to normal on Friday.
New disruptions caused by strike action may occur later this month, however, and also on October 7 due to a French general strike.
