Tanker loading disrupted at terminal
Loading has been hampered since last week

Bad weather in the form of strong winds is hampering crude oil liftings at a terminal in Valdez, Alaska.

The Valdez facility delivers crude oil from the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System otherwise known as the Alaska Pipeline.

A spokesman was quoted saying that strong winds are delaying tanker loading at the terminal, causing “a slowdown in oil flows.”

Tanker loadings have apparently been disrupted since last week due to ongoing bad weather.

It is unclear at present how it has affected  the actual volume of crude oil cargoes.
